Francesc Ruiz will take part in the show Desires and necessities that introduces recent adquisitions at MACBA. Curated by Bartomeu Marí, it shows the adquisitions gathered by the musuem in the last three years. The title refers to a work by Lawrence Weiner and also includes works by John Baldessari, Iñaki Bonillas, Marcel Broodthaers, Ali Cherri, Patricia Dauder, Gego, Richard Hamilton, Iman Issa, Sigalit Landau, Rita McBride, Adrian Melis, Pablo Palazuelo, Walid Raad, Jorge Ribalta, Dieter Roth, Allan Sekula, Wael Shawky, Oussama Tabti and Antoni Tàpies.
